pSAP1. This is a new dual epitope TAP vector with the strepavidin binding peptide (Wilson et al, 2001) substituted for the calmodulin binding peptide. Click here for the sequence in Genbank format. If you have the free NTI viewer, it will open in graphic form. The plasmid has the L. major RET2 gene in the expression site. Release this fragment with BamHI and XbaI and clone your gene of interest in frame with the C-terminal tags. Select in E. coli with 50 ug/ml amp.

 


pXLtREL1-mod. This is the original TAP vector with the calmodulin binding peptide and the protein A peptide (Aphasizhev et al., 2002). Remove the insert with XbaI and BamHI and clone in your gene.
